The high-performance thermal imagers optris PI 640i and PI 640i G7 are small, capable, and precise infrared cameras with VGA resolution, delivering superior infrared image quality. With an optical resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, the PI 640i and PI 640i G7 deliver pin-sharp radiometric pictures and videos. One of the key features of the PI series is the range of exchangeable lens options available, which allows for precise customization based on specific measurement requirements. The PI series offers excellent optics quality due to the small Minimum Field of View (MFOV), ensuring high precision and clarity in temperature measurements.
The IR camera can have lenses with a field of view ranging from 15 to 90 . Each optic can be calibrated with the IR camera up to 1500 C.

What must I do when I exchange the lens on the same IR camera?
To select the appropriate optics based on the camera configuration, navigate to the Tools menu, Configuration, and Device. If multiple Addition lenses are included with the camera order, choose the currently used optics in this menu.
