FAQs
Which window should I choose from?
Different window materials must be chosen depending on the infrared sensor’s spectral sensitivity. The infrared transmissive bandwidth must match the sensor’s spectral range. Adequate protection windows are available for all versions. Please review the manual to verify which window best fits the sensor.
What is the typical transmissivity of the windows?
Please review the manual for this information, but the lower level is usually >0.90.
Can the window be exchanged in the CoolingJacket Advance or Outdoor Protective housing?
Yes, the window can be exchanged by the user, if damaged or broken.
How can I clean the window?
Blow off loose particles using clean compressed air. The lens surface can be cleaned with a soft, humid tissue (moistened with water) or a lens cleaner (e.g. Purosol or B+W Lens Cleaner).
