Shutter for PI series

The shutter accessory for PI series infrared cameras protects optics with a servo motor-operated mechanism, closing within 100 milliseconds to shield against debris. It includes a control box for system integration and can be combined with the Process Interface for automated control. Optional high-temperature cables and water-cooling accessories are available for enhanced protection.

Which other accessory is mandatory for the installation of the shutter?

The corresponding mounting bracket (Part-No.: ACPISAB) is required for installation.

What other equipment do I need to order?

Please remember that USB or IO cables running from the infrared camera to a computer or any other interface must also be ordered at the appropriate length and temperature range.

Can I combine an air purge, water cooling, and shutter?

No. The shutter is not compatible with the other PI accessories.

Will Optris assemble the accessory for me?

Yes, if the configurations are compatible and bought with an Optris infrared camera. Optris will assemble the infrared camera with the accessory in the factory.
