What is the best optic for this application?

The sighting tube is not compatible with a pyrometer with close-focus optics. The inner diameter of the sighting tube is 43mm (1.69 in). For the 300 mm pipe length, the measuring spot should be smaller than 43 mm at that length.

Are the screws for fastening to the wall in the scope of supply?

No, the screws for 9 mm (.35 in) diameter holes are not supplied because different wall materials require different screws.
