Free NIST or PTB Calibration Certificate for Your CS LT Pyrometers

Free NIST or PTB Calibration Certificate for Your CS LT Pyrometers

Optris Supports Customers and Certifies Calibration Standards

8th April 2025

Berlin, March 2025 – Optris is committed to delivering precision and reliability in every temperature measurement. To support our valued machine builders and OEM
customers, we now offer a free NIST or PTB calibration certificate for already
delivered CS LT and CSmicro LT pyrometers—without needing to send them back, no matter where you bought them! If the CS LT or CSmicro LT pyrometer is produced after 2021, simply request your certificate for your device with us, and we’ll provide you with a NIST or PTB calibration certificate at no cost, as calibration data is already in our database. This ensures the pyrometer has its high accuracy standards documented, with zero downtime and maximum convenience.

Calibration certificate verifies accuracy and consistency

A calibration certificate is an official document verifying that a measuring instrument—such as an online infrared thermometer —has been calibrated in accordance with standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB).

The calibration process follows a chain of measurements linked to American NIST-maintained or German PTB-maintained reference standards. A NIST or PTB calibration certificate guarantees that your pyrometer meets rigorous industry standards for accuracy and consistency. It is often required for regulatory compliance in industries like manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and research, as organizations to that need must meet quality standards.

Calibration certificate – How it works

Who Qualifies?

•          End Users: This offer is exclusively for those using CS LT and CSmicro LT- pyrometers in their operations.

•          Ensure the pyrometer was manufactured in 2021 or later.

•          Registration Required: Calibration certificates are sent electronically via email and must include the company’s address;
therefore, end-user information must be provided.

How to Get Your Free Calibration Certificate:

1.         Contact us with pyrometer’s serial number via website or email.

2.         Receive your free NIST or PTB calibration certificate directly via email—no need to send in your pyrometer!

Visit our website to claim the calibration certificate.

Or you can also send a request via email to info@optris.de
