No, the protective window is transmissive and has an anti reflection coating according to the wavelength of the camera.

The lens surface can be cleaned with a soft, humid tissue (moistened with water) or a lens cleaner (e.g. Purosol or B+W Lens Cleaner).
Never use cleaning compounds which contain solvents (neither for the lens nor for the housing).
